Activity-specific prosthesis
for upper limb loss
Prosthesis for arms is a niche market because of the number of upper extremity amputees and people with congenital arm deformity is significantly less than the leg prosthetic users.
Also, because one hand is powerful enough for people to go about daily activities without a general purpose arm prosthesis.
Therefore, I chose to design for a specific activity, cycling because the people are capable of doing the leisure biking with just one hand.
